God set His rainbow up in the clouds

And He said “ Hey Noah, let those critters out!

That rainbow is my sign for you

Of the promise that I’ve given

I’ll never let the waters rise

To destroy all flesh again.”

God set His rainbow up in the sky

And He said to Noah, “Son, don’t you cry!

Even though some rain is going to fall

And human hearts will have their sin,

I’ll never let the waters rise

To destroy all flesh again.”

And it’s red, yellow and green

It’s as pretty as anything you’ve ever seen

It stretches ‘cross the sky

God left it just for you and for me.

When I see God’s rainbow, I can’t be sad

Because God’s promises all make me glad!

When He tells us what He’s going to do

You don’t have to ask again

‘Cause every promise that He gives

Is “Yes” and it’s “Amen”!
