Frequently Asked Questions:
- What's this all about?
- Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by
the Word of God. (Romans 10:17)
- We bring the Word of God to audiences
through music and multimedia in an entertaining format.
- Our prayer is that these concerts will
be used by local Christians as a vehicle for outreach.
- We've also found that these events
can be a time of wonderful fellowship and encouragement for
local churches.
- How much does it cost?
- Nothing at all. This is our
ministry; it is supported by CD sales, MP3 downloads, donations
and our "day jobs". Some churches have taken a
free-will offering to help cover our expenses, but while
appreciated, it is absolutely not necessary.
- How long are the concerts?
- This is completely up to you, and
dependent on the type of event. We love to play and sing,
and have enough material to play all night. A typical
concert will last between an hour and 10 minutes and an hour and
20 minutes. (It's best to leave them wanting a little
more!) Once, we played two sets with a potluck meal in
between. (We like to eat almost as much as we like to make
music.)
- Can we book a concert in the middle of
the week?
- Give us a call, and we can talk it
over. We prefer weekends (we have day jobs,
remember?), but we can generally be pretty flexible depending on
the amount of travel involved.
- What sort of doctrine do you
present? Is it orthodox?
- Praise the Lord if you are asking this
question! There is way too much heresy being passed off in the
name of Christ these days.
- Please refer to our doctrinal
statement. The primary doctrinal emphasis presented at
our shows revolves around God's plan of salvation.
Fundamentally, we present the fact that we are all sinners and
there is nothing we can do to earn our way to heaven. We
teach that Jesus came to earth to live a perfect, sinless life
so He could sacrifice that life to pay the penalty for our
sins. We teach that by accepting Christ as our personal
Lord and Savior, we accept God's free gift of salvation and can
become members of God's kingdom. (Romans 10:9)
