Ken's Tunes
Songs of life and faith from Pastor Ken Ainsworth
Ainsworth has been performing professionally for
over 40 years. He has five solo CDs to his credit and
has contributed to recordings by Night Whale,
Denise Kaufmann (Nina Brandt), Ray Labish and
Darrell Newby.
Ken's style is an interesting mix of folk-revivalist
lyricism laced with a touch of rock and roll. His songs
are inspired by the people he has met and the places
he has seen over the years. They reflect his deep faith
in Jesus Christ and his desire to share the good news
of the Gospel with those he meets.
Ken continues to perform from time to time, making himself available to churches, organizations and an occasional coffee house at no charge. Vacations often include a concert or two with some of the incredibly cool and exceptionally gifted musician friends he's worked with over the years.
Ken and his wife Kris serve
with Village Missions and live in Coram, Montana where Ken has been the
pastor at Canyon
Community Church
since 2009.
